Q: How do I make a reservation?

A: Send us an e-mail inquiry under the 'Contact Us' form telling us a little about your group and vacation and we will respond with availability. If you see a specific property you would like to rent, follow the link "Check Availability" and "View Plans and Pricing". If the dates are available and the reservation is a good match, we will send a contract right away! Once we receive your signed contract and initial payment, you are reserved!

Q: What is the cancellation policy?

A: Renter has the ability to cancel this agreement, without charge, 90 days prior to check in.  If Renter cancels 60-90 days before check in, 50% of the rental fee will be refunded.  If Renter cancels 60-0 days before check-in Renter shall forfeit his/her right to a refund.

Q: What is the security deposit for? When can I expect to get it back?

A: The security deposit will be held as collateral security and applied to any damages to the premises or contents caused by the Tenant, his family, or invitees. We will refund the security deposit to Tenant after a representative of the San Diego Beach House Rentals inspects the property to assess damages. Refund of the Security Deposit will be sent to Tenant no later than 14 days after end of rental period, less cost of damages, if any. If damages exceed security deposit, tenant is responsible for repairs or damages.

Q: Is early check in or late check out possible?

A: Depending on the other reservations we have surrounding your stay dates, an early check in or late check out may be possible. Please contact us a few days prior to your arrival to determine the availability. Our cleaning crew also needs to have enough time to prepare the property for the next reservation. Per your contract, standard check in time is 4 pm and check out is 11 am. Early and Late check out are unavailable during the peak summer months.

Q: How do I check in to my vacation rental?

A: You will receive check-in instructions via e-mail 10-14 days prior to your arrival date.

Q: What is provided?

A: We provide guests with clean high quality linens, bath towel sets (bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths) and beach towels. Our rentals come with a fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, bowls, dinner ware and flat ware, glass ware). Kitchen's also include a starter kit of dish soap, paper towels and toilet paper. Small bathroom toiletries are also provided. Most of our properties also include beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys. All of our properties are cable and wifi equipped. You will find a binder with information and instructions regarding the  property as well as restaurant and attraction recommendations. You'll find a list of amenities for each property on their specific pages.
